Differences in calibration, sampling, and resolution were resolved, and all data were placed on a uniform grid with $0^&\circ5$ spacing in Galactic longitude and latitude, and 1.3 km s$^{-1}$ spacing in velocity. \vfill \noindent Description of Image: (e.g., type of source, scientific reason for observing, notable source features) The composite CO survey is contained in 720 latitude-velocity maps, for longitude $0^\circ$ to $359.5^\circ$, spaced every $0.5^\circ$. To simplify the construction of data cubes, the latitude and velocity limits for all 720 maps are identical: from $-25^\circ$ to $+25^\circ$ in latitude and from $-299.7$ to $+299.7$ km s$^{-1}$ in velocity. The 720 $(b,~v)$ maps are followed by a single longitude-latitude map of the survey integrated over all velocities (Figure 2 from Dame {\it et al.} 1987). \vfill \vfill \noindent Publication Reference(s): Dame, T.
