An individual image within a project may be browsed by viewing the image's Preview Page. This page is accessable either after a search for individual images or directly via the image's codename.
Codenames
Every project within the Library is given a unique codename that
allows it to be accessed directly with its own URL. The unique URL
(discussed below) allows other databases and Web documents to provide
direct links to the project.
A project codename contains three fields. For example, the fields in
95.DR.01 translate as:
95 = year of deposit into the Library. To link directly to this project one would use the URL, http://adil.ncsa.uiuc.edu/document/95.DR.01; requesting this URL will cause the Project Page for this project to be displayed.
DR = initials of first author of the project.
01 = first project by the author in that year
Every image with a project also has has a unique codename associated with it. For instance, the second image within the project 95.DR.01 has the codename 95.DR.01.02. Requesting the URL http://adil.ncsa.uiuc.edu/document/95.DR.01.02 causes the Preview Page for this image to be displayed.
